Friday the 18th
Outreach day. The whole Reedley faculty, from LS to US, went on a eye-opening trip. We went to RSCC, an orphanage, where abandoned children are taken care of. We were given an opportunity to take care of a child for 2 hours (which was highly not enough, for me).
( The only photo i took, since cameras weren't allowed)
I was introduced to Jompoy. Sweet child, even though he can't speak, hear and talk. You may ask, how did we communicate or how did we spend the 2 hours given to us? He would use his fingers to call my attention and point at something he wants. He can't walk, so i carried him most of the time. It wasn't a big deal, besides i love carrying kiddos around.
A lot of things were realized on that trip. An eye-opener indeed to what is happening. I would love to visit that place again and be able to play with Jompoy or the other kids.
